No one could have guessed, simply by looking at this man, what a dangerous criminal he really was. For many days, he managed to deceive everyone. Day after day, he continued digging the earth, striking it with a pickaxe, levelling and compacting the soil, and planting flowering plants over the graves. The saplings took root, grew into plants and eventually began to bloom.
