A Dream Born in Shrirampur
In 1980, Shabdalaya Prakashan was founded in the cultural heartland of Shrirampur, Maharashtra — a town steeped in literary tradition. What began as a passionate endeavour to give voice to Marathi writers grew into one of the region's most respected publishing institutions.
Guided by a philosophy of quality over quantity, Shabdalaya has championed serious literature, regional voices, and academic scholarship — refusing to compromise on the integrity of the written word.
