२४ व २५ ऑगस्ट २०१२ रोजी वसई रोड येथे आयोजित यूजीसी अनुदानित ‘आदिवासी साहित्य आणि लोककला’ या दोन दिवसीय राष्ट्रीय परिषदेचे स्मृतिचिन्ह शब्दालयच्या साहित्यिक संग्रहातील एक महत्त्वपूर्ण ठेवा आहे. आदिवासी साहित्य, लोककला आणि भारतीय सांस्कृतिक वारशाविषयीच्या शब्दालयच्या बांधिलकीचे ते प्रतीक आहे.
This commemorative trophy marks the UGC-sponsored two-day national conference on “Tribal Literature and Folk Art,” held in Vasai Road on 24 and 25 August 2012. Preserved in Shabdalay’s literary collection, it reflects an enduring commitment to tribal literature, folk traditions and India’s cultural heritage.
२४ आणि २५ ऑगस्ट २०१२ रोजी वसई रोड येथे ‘आदिवासी साहित्य आणि लोककला’ या विषयावर यूजीसी अनुदानित दोन दिवसीय राष्ट्रीय परिषद आयोजित करण्यात आली होती. या परिषदेची आठवण जपणारे लेखणीच्या आकारातील स्मृतिचिन्ह शब्दालयच्या साहित्यिक आणि सांस्कृतिक संग्रहाचा एक महत्त्वपूर्ण भाग आहे.
आदिवासी साहित्यामध्ये निसर्ग, जीवनसंघर्ष, परंपरा, मौखिक इतिहास, लोककथा आणि सामुदायिक मूल्यांचे प्रभावी प्रतिबिंब दिसते. आदिवासी लोककलेमध्ये चित्रकला, नृत्य, संगीत, हस्तकला, उत्सव आणि पिढ्यानपिढ्या जतन झालेल्या सांस्कृतिक अभिव्यक्तींचा समृद्ध वारसा सामावलेला आहे. या विषयांवरील राष्ट्रीय परिषदा संशोधक, लेखक, अभ्यासक आणि विद्यार्थ्यांना विचारविनिमयाचे महत्त्वपूर्ण व्यासपीठ उपलब्ध करून देतात.

A UGC-sponsored two-day national conference on “Tribal Literature and Folk Art” was held in Vasai Road on 24 and 25 August 2012. The pen-shaped commemorative trophy preserving the memory of this event is an important part of Shabdalay’s literary and cultural collection.
Tribal literature offers powerful representations of nature, community life, oral history, folklore, struggle and traditional values. Tribal folk art encompasses a rich heritage of painting, dance, music, crafts, festivals and cultural expressions passed from one generation to another. National conferences on these subjects provide researchers, writers, scholars and students with an important platform for discussion and knowledge-sharing.
