शब्दालयच्या साहित्यिक वाटचालीतील एक महत्त्वपूर्ण आणि अभिमानास्पद क्षण म्हणजे विभागीय मराठी साहित्य संमेलन २०१७ मध्ये प्राप्त झालेले हे सन्मानचिन्ह. महाराष्ट्र साहित्य परिषद, सावेडी उपनगर शाखा, अहमदनगर यांच्या वतीने ४ व ५ नोव्हेंबर २०१७ रोजी या साहित्य संमेलनाचे आयोजन करण्यात आले होते.
या संमेलनात मराठी भाषा, कविता, साहित्य, लेखक, वाचक आणि प्रकाशनविश्वाला एकत्र आणणारे विविध साहित्यिक उपक्रम आयोजित करण्यात आले. संमेलनाच्या सन्मानचिन्हावर नरेंद्र फिरोदिया यांचा स्वागताध्यक्ष म्हणून उल्लेख आहे. तसेच रामदास फुटाणे उद्घाटक, रंगनाथ पठारे संमेलनाध्यक्ष आणि जयंत येळूलकर कार्याध्यक्ष म्हणून नमूद आहेत.

A significant and proud milestone in Shabdalay’s literary journey was the commemorative honour received at the 2017 Divisional Marathi Literary Conference. The event was organised in Ahmednagar on 4 and 5 November 2017 by the Savedi Suburban Branch of the Maharashtra Sahitya Parishad.
The conference brought together Marathi writers, poets, readers, publishers and literary enthusiasts to celebrate Marathi language and literature. The trophy identifies Narendra Firodia as the welcome president. It also names Ramdas Futane as the inaugurator, Ranganath Pathare as conference president and Jayant Yelulkar as working president.
