Ghanerichi Phula

Ghanerichi Phula is a collection of character sketches of children, but one that is distinctly different and deeply unsettling. Children usually grow up in the warmth and security of a home, where the petals of their young minds gradually blossom. But when, at such a tender age, they find themselves caught in the raging fire of adverse circumstances, their young minds are scorched by suffering. Ramnath Chavan has poignantly portrayed this painful reality through these character sketches.

Reading the life stories of these boys and girls is deeply heart-wrenching. One is overwhelmed by the thought of how they could possibly have endured so much.
