Vhay Maharaja

In Dr. Mahesh Keluskar’s Vhay Maharaja (व्हय महाराजा), readers encounter, at every turn, the enchanting manifestations of nature and love in the Malvani region, brought vividly to life. Equally vivid are the characteristic Malvani wit and sharpness, family rivalries, courtroom and legal battles, acts of courage, and the intense passion for life and the determination to survive.

Vhay Maharaja marks an important milestone in regional literature. Narrated in Dr. Mahesh Keluskar’s distinctive style, these lively Malvani tales are so engaging that readers feel as though they are listening to someone recount them in person. You become so absorbed in the stories that you hardly realise how quickly time has passed.
