S. B. Adhav is a retired associate professor at the senior college. He has retired as Head of Department of Physics after having 36 years’ fruitful experience in the educational field. He has worked in educational institutions like Residential High School, Ahmednagar; Dnyanmata Jr. College, Sangamner; Pravara Public School, Pravaranagar; Gautam Public School, Gautamnagar and Rayat Shikshan Sanstha, Satara; which is a pioneer venture in the rural set up of Maharashtra. He has put in his services as associate professor in various colleges like Modern College, Vashi, Navi Mumbai; R.B.N.B.College, Shrirampur; S.S.G.M.College, Kopargaon; A.A.College, Manchar, Veer Wajekar A.S.C. College, Phunde, Navi Mumbai; run by Rayat Shikshan Sanstha, Satara. His poems, articles and letters on varied subjects have been published in English and Merathi dailies such as The Indian Express, Loksatta, Mahaka Lokmat, Prabhat, Sarvamat etc Times, Sakal, Lokmat Times, He was the co-editor, assistant editor and chief editor of some college annual magazines. He has already published the poetry book titled “Eclectic Poems” which received overwhelming response.
