नाशिकमध्ये ‘संत निवृत्तिनाथ : चरित्र व कार्य’ ग्रंथाचे प्रकाशन ‘Sant Nivruttinath: Charitra Va Karya’ Launched in Nashik

डॉ. अमर भारती ठोंबरे लिखित आणि शब्दालय प्रकाशन प्रकाशित ‘संत निवृत्तिनाथ : चरित्र व कार्य’ या ग्रंथाचे प्रकाशन २३ सप्टेंबर २०२६ रोजी नाशिक येथे संपन्न झाले. वारकरी सेवा समिती, नाशिक आयोजित वारकरी सन्मान सोहळा २०२६ अंतर्गत प. सा. नाट्यगृह (शालिमार), सावाना येथे हा प्रकाशन समारंभ पार पडला.

‘संत निवृत्तिनाथ : चरित्र व कार्य’ या ग्रंथामध्ये संत निवृत्तिनाथांचे जीवनचरित्र, तत्त्वज्ञान, वारकरी संप्रदायातील स्थान आणि मराठी संतपरंपरेवरील त्यांचा प्रभाव यांचा संशोधनात्मक वेध घेण्यात आला आहे. संतसाहित्याचे अभ्यासक, संशोधक, विद्यार्थी, वारकरी आणि सर्वसामान्य वाचकांसाठी हा ग्रंथ महत्त्वपूर्ण संदर्भ ठरतो.

कार्यक्रमात डॉ. सदानंद मोरे यांचे ‘ज्ञानोबा–तुकोबा’ या विषयावर व्याख्यान आयोजित करण्यात आले होते. वारकरी, साहित्य, शिक्षण, प्रशासन आणि अध्यात्म क्षेत्रातील मान्यवरांच्या उपस्थितीमुळे सोहळ्याला विशेष महत्त्व प्राप्त झाले. या प्रसंगी वारकरी परंपरेशी संबंधित सेवाभावी व्यक्तींचा सन्मानही करण्यात आला.

शब्दालय प्रकाशनासाठी हा प्रकाशन सोहळा संशोधनाधारित मराठी साहित्य, संतवाङ्मय आणि महाराष्ट्राच्या सांस्कृतिक वारशाला वाचकांपर्यंत पोहोचवण्याच्या बांधिलकीचे प्रतीक आहे. मान्यवरांच्या हस्ते झालेले पुस्तक प्रकाशन आणि त्याला मिळालेली वर्तमानपत्रातील प्रसिद्धी हा शब्दालय परिवाराच्या साहित्यिक वाटचालीतील अभिमानास्पद क्षण आहे.

‘Sant Nivruttinath: Charitra Va Karya’, written by Dr Amar Bharati Thombare and published by Shabdalay Publication, was formally launched in Nashik on 23 September 2026. The ceremony was organised as part of Warkari Sanman Sohala 2026 by Warkari Seva Samiti, Nashik, at P. Sa. Natyagruha (Shalimar), SAVANA.

The book presents a research-based account of Sant Nivruttinath’s life, philosophy, spiritual legacy and influential role in the Warkari tradition. It is an important reference for readers, students and researchers interested in Marathi saint literature, the Bhakti movement and Maharashtra’s cultural heritage.

The programme included a special lecture on “Dnyanoba–Tukoba” by noted scholar Dr Sadanand More. The participation of distinguished guests from literature, education, administration, spirituality and the Warkari community added significance to the occasion. Individuals associated with Warkari service and cultural preservation were also felicitated during the ceremony.
