मिथुनचंद्र चौधरी यांच्या ‘आतली कवाडं’ कवितासंग्रहाचे पुण्यात प्रकाशन
लेखक-दिग्दर्शक मिथुनचंद्र चौधरी यांच्या पहिल्या कवितासंग्रहाचे, ‘आतली कवाडं’, प्रकाशन 21 फेब्रुवारी 2026 रोजी सायंकाळी 6 वाजता पुण्यातील डेक्कन जिमखाना येथील मराठवाडा मित्रमंडळ संस्थेच्या ज्ञानेश्वर सभागृहात पार पडले. शब्दालय प्रकाशन प्रकाशित या कवितासंग्रहाचे प्रकाशन व्यासंगी समीक्षक प्रा. रणधीर शिंदे यांच्या हस्ते झाले, तर ज्येष्ठ कवी हेमकिरण पत्की प्रमुख पाहुणे म्हणून उपस्थित होते.
‘आतली कवाडं’ हा मानवी अंतर्मन, नातेसंबंध, एकाकीपण, स्मृती, सामाजिक वास्तव आणि रोजच्या जगण्यातून निर्माण होणाऱ्या सूक्ष्म भावनांचा वेध घेणारा संवेदनशील मराठी कवितासंग्रह आहे. छोट्या-मोठ्या अनुभवांना शब्दबद्ध करताना मिथुनचंद्र चौधरी यांच्या कवितेत कृत्रिम नाट्यमयतेपेक्षा अनुभवांची प्रामाणिकता आणि बोलभाषेची सहज लय जाणवते. माणसांच्या नात्यांतील गुंतागुंत, तुटलेपण, वेदना, आतल्या मनातील अस्वस्थता आणि समाजाकडे पाहण्याची सजग दृष्टी या कवितांतून प्रभावीपणे व्यक्त होते.

प्रकाशनानंतर *‘आतली कवाडं’*ला विविध वृत्तपत्रांतूनही विशेष प्रतिसाद मिळाला. समीक्षणांमध्ये या संग्रहाला “अंतरिक चेतनेचा अक्षर झरा”, “निसर्ग आणि माणसांविषयीचा ओलावा” तसेच “बोलभाषेची ओढ असलेली संवेदनशील कविता” अशा शब्दांत गौरवण्यात आले. त्यामुळे मिथुनचंद्र चौधरी यांच्या साहित्यिक प्रवासात ‘आतली कवाडं’ हा महत्त्वाचा टप्पा ठरतो.

Mithunchandra Chaudhari’s Marathi Poetry Collection ‘Aatli Kavad’ Launched in Pune
“Aatli Kavad,” the first poetry collection by writer-director Mithunchandra Chaudhari, was formally launched on 21 February 2026 at 6:00 PM at the Dnyaneshwar Auditorium of Marathwada Mitra Mandal, Deccan Gymkhana, Pune. Published by Shabdalaya Prakashan, the book was released by noted literary critic Prof. Randhir Shinde, with senior poet Hemkiran Patki attending as the chief guest.
The Marathi poetry collection explores human consciousness, loneliness, relationships, memories, social realities and the subtle emotional experiences of everyday life. Rather than depending on dramatic literary devices, Chaudhari’s poetry derives its strength from authenticity, conversational language and close observation of people and their inner worlds. The poems reflect emotional fractures in relationships, personal struggles and the continuous dialogue between an individual and society.
Speaking at the Aatli Kavad book launch in Pune, Hemkiran Patki highlighted the natural rhythm and colloquial quality of Mithunchandra Chaudhari’s poetry. He observed that the poems move beyond rigid literary structures and communicate directly with human experience. Prof. Randhir Shinde discussed the collection’s sensitivity, contemporary imagery and its connection with Indian philosophical thought, describing the poetry as both introspective and socially conscious.
The literary gathering was attended by several prominent personalities from Marathi literature and cinema, including Prof. Samar Nakhate, filmmaker Nagraj Manjule, Gargi Kulkarni, Santosh Shenoy, Sumit Lande of Shabdalaya Prakashan, Akshay Shelar, Lakshmi Yadav, Sanjay Awate and Pradeep Awate. The introductory remarks were delivered by Mrunmayi Patil-Lande, while Dr. Sujata Shenoy conducted the programme.
Following its publication, Aatli Kavad received significant coverage in the Marathi press. Reviews described the collection as an expression of inner consciousness, emotional sensitivity, human relationships and the language of everyday life. With its combination of personal reflection and social awareness, the book establishes Mithunchandra Chaudhari as a distinctive contemporary voice in Marathi poetry and literature.
