शब्दालय: कुसुमताई चौधरी काव्योत्सव २००५ मधील गौरव Shabdalay: Honored at Kusumtai Chaudhari Kavyotsav 2005

सन २००५ मध्ये 'शब्दालय'ला कुसुमताई चौधरी महिला कल्याणी काव्योत्सव येथे सन्मानित करण्यात आले, हा आमच्या प्रवासातील एक अत्यंत अभिमानाचा क्षण होता. हा पुरस्कार आमच्या दोन दशकांच्या अथक प्रवासातील एक मानाचा टप्पा आहे. प्रा. पुष्पा भावे आणि डॉ. विमलताई मुंदडा यांसारख्या मान्यवरांच्या हस्ते मिळालेली ही पावती, मराठी पुस्तके, साहित्य आणि वाचन संस्कृती रुजविण्याच्या आमच्या प्रयत्नांची दखल होती.

हा सन्मान केवळ संस्थेचा नव्हतो, तर त्या सर्व लोकांचा (People) होता ज्यांनी शब्दालयवर विश्वास ठेवला आणि आमच्या प्रकाशनांना वाचून पाठिंबा दिला. या काव्योत्सवातून मिळालेल्या प्रेरणेने आम्हाला साहित्य क्षेत्रात अधिक भरीव कामगिरी करण्यास प्रेरित केले. कुसुमताई चौधरी यांच्या नावाने चालणाऱ्या या संस्थेने आम्हाला एक नवी ओळख दिली आणि आजही आम्ही त्याच उत्साहाने साहित्याची सेवा करत आहोत, हाच या पुरस्काराचा खरा अर्थ आहे.

In 2005, Shabdalay reached a significant milestone by being recognized at the prestigious Kusumtai Chaudhari Mahila Kalyani Kavyotsav. This honor, awarded during a vibrant celebration of literature and culture, stands as a testament to our unwavering commitment to promoting Marathi literature and empowering women through the written word.

This proud moment reflects our journey of over two decades. The award, presented in the presence of esteemed dignitaries like Prof. Pushpa Bhave and Dr. Vimaltai Mundada, acknowledged our role in bringing forth diverse voices and preserving the rich heritage of Marathi poetry. It was a celebration of books, creativity, and the enduring spirit of community. Receiving this recognition at the Kavyotsav reinforced our resolve to continue championing literary excellence and fostering a deep appreciation for Marathi culture.
