वर्धा येथे आयोजित ९६व्या अखिल भारतीय मराठी साहित्य संमेलनात शब्दालय प्रकाशन आणि पुस्तकवारीच्या दालनाने मराठी पुस्तकांची समृद्ध विविधता वाचकांसमोर मांडली. लेखक, प्रकाशक, साहित्यप्रेमी आणि वाचकांच्या उत्स्फूर्त भेटींमुळे शब्दालयचे दालन साहित्यिक संवादाचे आकर्षक केंद्र ठरले.
At the 96th Akhil Bharatiya Marathi Sahitya Sammelan in Wardha, the Shabdalay Prakashan and Pustakvari stall presented a diverse collection of Marathi books. Visits from writers, publishers and readers transformed the stall into a vibrant space for literary discovery and conversation.
३ ते ५ फेब्रुवारी २०२३ या कालावधीत वर्धा येथे ९६वे अखिल भारतीय मराठी साहित्य संमेलन आयोजित करण्यात आले. राष्ट्रपिता महात्मा गांधी साहित्यनगरी, स्वावलंबी विद्यालय परिसरात भरलेल्या या संमेलनाचे अध्यक्ष न्यायमूर्ती नरेंद्र चपळगावकर होते. मराठी साहित्यिक, लेखक, कवी, प्रकाशक आणि वाचकांना एकत्र आणणाऱ्या या साहित्यिक सोहळ्यात शब्दालय प्रकाशन आणि पुस्तकवारीने उत्साहाने सहभाग घेतला.
संमेलनातील शब्दालयच्या दालनात विविध साहित्यप्रकारांतील पुस्तकांची आकर्षक मांडणी करण्यात आली होती. कथा, कादंबरी, कविता, वैचारिक साहित्य, सामाजिक लेखन, अनुवादित साहित्य, बालसाहित्य आणि नव्या प्रकाशनांचा यात समावेश होता. दालनावरील ‘शब्दालय प्रकाशन’ आणि ‘पुस्तकवारी’ या फलकांमुळे शब्दालयची प्रकाशन आणि पुस्तकवितरण क्षेत्रातील एकत्रित ओळख प्रभावीपणे समोर आली.
संमेलनासाठी आलेल्या साहित्यप्रेमींनी शब्दालयच्या दालनाला भेट देऊन पुस्तके पाहिली आणि आपल्या आवडीच्या पुस्तकांची निवड केली. जोडलेल्या छायाचित्रांमध्ये वाचक पुस्तकांची पाने पाहताना, प्रतिनिधींशी चर्चा करताना आणि विविध प्रकाशनांविषयी माहिती घेताना दिसतात. दालनाबाहेरही साहित्यिक, वाचक आणि पुस्तकप्रेमींची गर्दी दिसून येते.
अखिल भारतीय मराठी साहित्य संमेलनासारखे व्यासपीठ स्वतंत्र प्रकाशकांना नव्या वाचकांपर्यंत पोहोचण्याची संधी देते. लेखक, प्रकाशक आणि वाचक यांच्यात प्रत्यक्ष संवाद घडल्यामुळे पुस्तकांविषयीची माहिती, साहित्यिक अभिरुची आणि वाचनसंस्कृतीला चालना मिळते.
शब्दालयचा सहभाग केवळ पुस्तक विक्रीपुरता मर्यादित नव्हता. वाचकांना विविध विषयांवरील पुस्तके उपलब्ध करून देणे, नव्या लेखकांची ओळख करून देणे आणि दर्जेदार मराठी साहित्य अधिक व्यापक स्तरावर पोहोचवणे हा या सहभागाचा महत्त्वपूर्ण उद्देश होता.
शब्दालय प्रकाशन आणि पुस्तकवारीने अनेक वर्षांपासून लेखक, पुस्तके आणि वाचक यांना जोडण्याचे काम केले आहे. वर्धा साहित्य संमेलनातील हे दालन त्या साहित्यिक ध्येयाचे प्रत्यक्ष रूप होते. पुस्तकांची विस्तृत निवड, वाचकांशी संवाद आणि मराठी प्रकाशनांची ओळख यांमुळे शब्दालयची साहित्यिक उपस्थिती ठळक झाली.
शब्दालयच्या Press & Media संग्रहासाठी हा छायाचित्रसंच महत्त्वाचा आहे. तो मराठी साहित्याच्या राष्ट्रीय व्यासपीठावरील शब्दालयचा सहभाग, पुस्तकप्रेमींचा उत्स्फूर्त प्रतिसाद आणि मराठी वाचनसंस्कृतीच्या प्रसारासाठी केलेले प्रयत्न नोंदवतो.
The 96th Akhil Bharatiya Marathi Sahitya Sammelan was organised in Wardha from 3 to 5 February 2023 at Rashtrapita Mahatma Gandhi Sahitya Nagari, Swawlambi Vidyalaya. Presided over by Justice Narendra Chapalgaonkar, the conference brought together Marathi writers, poets, publishers and readers from different regions. Shabdalay Prakashan and Pustakvari participated with a dedicated book stall.
The Shabdalay stall featured an extensive selection of Marathi publications. The display included fiction, poetry, critical and social writing, translated works, children’s books and new releases. Signage for both Shabdalay Prakashan and Pustakvari highlighted the organisation’s combined work in publishing and book distribution.
Visitors attending the literary conference browsed the books and interacted with representatives at the stall. The photographs show readers examining publications, discussing books and exploring the wide range of titles available. The crowd gathered outside the stall reflects the strong interest of conference visitors.
A platform such as the Akhil Bharatiya Marathi Sahitya Sammelan allows independent publishers to reach new audiences. Direct conversations between writers, publishers and readers promote awareness of books, strengthen literary appreciation and support a wider culture of reading.
Shabdalay’s participation extended beyond commercial book sales. The stall helped introduce readers to different subjects, emerging writers and significant Marathi publications. Its primary purpose was to make quality literature more accessible and to build lasting connections with readers.
For many years, Shabdalay Prakashan and Pustakvari have worked to connect books, writers and readers. Their presence at the Wardha conference reflected this literary mission through a diverse display, reader engagement and the promotion of Marathi publications.
