About this book
Dhanesh brought the police van to an abrupt halt. The veiled man and Jagdale stared at him in astonishment. When Inspector Dhanesh, his expression unreadable, reached for the pistol in his pocket, Jagdale was shaken. The veiled man began trembling uncontrollably.
“Sir, what are you doing? Why have you stopped the vehicle on this deserted, isolated road in the middle of these bushes? What exactly is going on in your mind?”
Questions came one after another, but Dhanesh’s face revealed nothing about his next move.
He pressed the pistol against the veiled man’s temple and handed him the papers he was holding. How could this uneducated man from the wilderness possibly read documents written in English?
“Sir, what are you doing?” Jagdale could not make sense of the situation.
The veiled man glanced at the papers and immediately fell at Dhanesh’s feet, begging for mercy.
But what exactly was going on? What papers had Dhanesh shown him? What did they contain? What secret were those documents about to reveal? Would Dhanesh actually carry out an encounter killing of the veiled man? Why? What was really happening here?
