महाराष्ट्र टाइम्सच्या मालेगाव वृत्तसेवेतील कात्रणानुसार, डॉ. एस. के. पाटील यांच्या तुकाराम : अहिराणी निरूपण या पुस्तकाचा प्रकाशन सोहळा मालेगावमधील एका हॉटेलमध्ये पार पडला. कार्यक्रमाच्या वृत्तात शनिवार, १६ तारीख दिली आहे; उपलब्ध कात्रणात महिना, वर्ष किंवा बातमीचा प्रकाशन दिनांक दिसत नाही.
कार्यक्रमात बोलताना डॉ. पाटील यांनी दोन कोटींहून अधिक लोक अहिराणी बोलत असल्याचा उल्लेख केला. एवढ्या मोठ्या भाषिक समुदायाची भाषा असली, तरी अहिराणीला अपेक्षित प्रतिष्ठा मिळवून देण्यासाठी अधिक प्रयत्न करावे लागतील, असे त्यांनी सांगितले. साहित्य आणि पुस्तक प्रकाशन या कामात मोलाची भूमिका बजावू शकतात, हा या कार्यक्रमाचा मुख्य संदर्भ होता.
शब्दालय प्रकाशनच्या सुमती लांडे यांनी प्रकाशक म्हणून आपले मनोगत व्यक्त केले. डॉ. एकनाथ पगार यांनी पुस्तकामुळे संत तुकारामांचे अभंग अहिराणीतून उपलब्ध होण्याबाबत समाधान व्यक्त केले. अध्यक्षीय भाषणात दादासाहेब भुसे यांनी अहिराणीच्या जतनाविषयी आपले विचार मांडले. वृत्तात देविदास हटकर, राजेंद्र भोसले आणि इतर उपस्थितांचाही उल्लेख आहे.
तुकाराम : अहिराणी निरूपणचे प्रकाशन हे प्रादेशिक भाषेतून संतसाहित्य वाचकांपर्यंत पोहोचविण्याच्या प्रयत्नाशी जोडलेले आहे. शब्दालय प्रकाशनच्या वेबसाइटवर ही बातमी पुस्तक, त्याचे लेखक आणि अहिराणी भाषेवरील साहित्यिक घडामोड अशा तीन संदर्भांत मांडता येईल.
