मराठी भाषा, साहित्य, वाङ्मय आणि संस्कृतीच्या संवर्धनासाठी सातत्याने कार्यरत असलेल्या शब्दालयसाठी हा अत्यंत गौरवाचा क्षण आहे. महाराष्ट्र शासनाचा मराठी भाषा विभाग आणि स्वामी रामानंद तीर्थ मराठवाडा विद्यापीठ, नांदेड येथील भाषा, वाङ्मय व संस्कृती अभ्यास संकुल यांच्या संयुक्त विद्यमाने आयोजित ‘मराठी भाषा संवर्धन पंधरवडा’ उपक्रमांतर्गत मा. सुमती लांडे यांना हा सन्मान प्रदान करण्यात आला.
हा पुरस्कार मराठी भाषेचा प्रसार, दर्जेदार मराठी पुस्तके वाचकांपर्यंत पोहोचवणे, नव्या लेखकांना प्रोत्साहन देणे आणि समाजामध्ये वाचनसंस्कृती विकसित करण्यासाठी करण्यात आलेल्या प्रयत्नांची महत्त्वपूर्ण दखल आहे. शब्दालय परिवारासाठी हा केवळ एक पुरस्कार नसून मराठी साहित्याप्रती असलेल्या बांधिलकीची प्रतिष्ठित पावती आहे.
लेखक, वाचक, साहित्यप्रेमी, सहकारी आणि हितचिंतकांच्या विश्वासामुळे हा प्रवास अधिक समृद्ध झाला आहे. हा गौरव शब्दालयला अधिक दर्जेदार मराठी पुस्तके प्रकाशित करण्यासाठी, लेखक-वाचक संवाद घडवण्यासाठी आणि मराठी भाषा संवर्धनाचे नवे उपक्रम राबवण्यासाठी प्रेरणा देत राहील.
This recognition marks a proud milestone for Shabdalay and its continuing commitment to preserving and promoting Marathi language, literature and culture. Mrs. Sumati Lande was honoured during Marathi Bhasha Sanvardhan Pandharwada, jointly organised by the Marathi Language Department of the Government of Maharashtra and the School of Language, Literature and Culture Studies at Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University, Nanded.
The award recognises sustained efforts to promote the Marathi language, bring quality Marathi books to readers, encourage emerging authors and strengthen reading culture in society. For the Shabdalay family, it is more than an award—it is a prestigious acknowledgement of its dedication to Marathi literature.
