जागतिक मराठी अकादमीतर्फे आयोजित ‘शोध मराठी मनाचा’ या साहित्यिक-सांस्कृतिक उपक्रमात शब्दालयच्या संस्थापक सुमती लांडे यांना प्रदान करण्यात आलेले स्मृतिचिन्ह त्यांच्या मराठी भाषा आणि साहित्यसेवेची अभिमानास्पद आठवण आहे.

जागतिक मराठी अकादमीतर्फे सादर करण्यात आलेला ‘शोध मराठी मनाचा’ हा मराठी भाषा, साहित्य, संस्कृती आणि मराठी अस्मितेला समर्पित उपक्रम १ व २ जानेवारी २००५ रोजी अहमदनगर येथे आयोजित करण्यात आला. यशवंतराव चव्हाण सहकार सभागृहात झालेल्या या कार्यक्रमाचे स्थानिक संयोजन मुळा एज्युकेशन सोसायटी, सोनई–अहमदनगर यांनी केले.
या साहित्यिक-सांस्कृतिक उपक्रमाशी संबंधित स्मृतिचिन्ह शब्दालयच्या संस्थापक सुमती लांडे यांच्या साहित्यिक प्रवासातील महत्त्वपूर्ण आठवण आहे. मराठी भाषा, लेखक, वाचक आणि साहित्यिक चळवळींशी असलेले त्यांचे दृढ नाते या सन्मानातून अधोरेखित होते.

‘Shodh Marathi Manacha’, an initiative presented by the Jagatik Marathi Academy, was held in Ahmednagar on 1 and 2 January 2005. Dedicated to Marathi language, literature, culture and identity, the event took place at Yashwantrao Chavan Sahakar Sabhagruh and was locally coordinated by Mula Education Society, Sonai–Ahmednagar.
