धनंजय गोवर्धन यांच्या ‘निःशब्द कोलाहल’ या लेखसंग्रहाच्या प्रकाशन सोहळ्यात ज्येष्ठ साहित्यिक डॉ. भालचंद्र नेमाडे यांनी जागतिकीकरणाच्या काळात मराठी भाषा, साहित्य आणि संस्कृतीमधील ‘देशीपण’ जपण्याचे आव्हान अधोरेखित केले. शब्दालय प्रकाशनाशी संबंधित या कार्यक्रमाचा वृत्तांत सकाळमध्ये प्रसिद्ध झाला.

धनंजय गोवर्धन यांच्या ‘निःशब्द कोलाहल’ या लेखसंग्रहाच्या प्रकाशन सोहळ्यात ज्येष्ठ साहित्यिक डॉ. भालचंद्र नेमाडे यांनी जागतिकीकरणाच्या पार्श्वभूमीवर मराठी भाषा आणि साहित्यापुढील आव्हानांचा वेध घेतला. जागतिक प्रभाव स्वीकारताना मराठी साहित्याने आपली प्रादेशिक मुळे, भाषिक वैशिष्ट्ये आणि सांस्कृतिक ‘देशीपण’ जपणे आवश्यक असल्याचे त्यांनी प्रतिपादन केले.
जागतिकीकरणामुळे भाषा, मूल्यव्यवस्था आणि संस्कृतीमध्ये वेगाने बदल होत आहेत. या बदलांमध्ये स्थानिक जीवनानुभव, बोलीभाषा, लोकपरंपरा आणि समाजाशी असलेले साहित्याचे नाते दुर्लक्षित होऊ नये, हा कार्यक्रमातील प्रमुख विचार होता. दर्जेदार आणि सातत्यपूर्ण मराठी साहित्यनिर्मितीमुळे भाषेची ओळख आणि वाचनसंस्कृती अधिक सक्षम होऊ शकते, असेही अधोरेखित करण्यात आले.
‘निःशब्द कोलाहल’ हा चित्रकार आणि लेखक धनंजय गोवर्धन यांचा लेखसंग्रह आहे. त्यांच्या चित्रकला आणि लेखनातील संवेदनशीलता, समाजाकडे पाहण्याचा दृष्टिकोन आणि विविध अनुभवांचे साहित्यिक रूप यांवर कार्यक्रमात चर्चा झाली. डॉ. राजन गवस, रंगनाथ पठारे आणि साहित्य क्षेत्रातील अन्य मान्यवर या प्रकाशन सोहळ्याशी संबंधित होते.
शब्दालय प्रकाशनाच्या सुमती लांडे यांची कार्यक्रमातील उपस्थिती आणि सहभाग या वृत्तातून नोंदवला गेला आहे. लेखक, पुस्तके आणि विचारप्रधान साहित्याला व्यासपीठ उपलब्ध करून देण्याच्या शब्दालयच्या प्रकाशन प्रवासातील हा एक उल्लेखनीय साहित्यिक प्रसंग आहे.
१८ जून २००५ रोजी सकाळमध्ये प्रसिद्ध झाल्याची हस्तलिखित नोंद असलेले हे कात्रण मराठी साहित्य, देशीवाद, जागतिकीकरण आणि पुस्तक प्रकाशन यांच्यातील संबंधांचा महत्त्वपूर्ण दस्तऐवज ठरते. शब्दालयच्या Press & Media संग्रहात समाविष्ट केलेला हा लेख प्रकाशन संस्थेच्या साहित्यिक आणि सांस्कृतिक योगदानाची आठवण जपतो.
At the publication ceremony of Dhananjay Govardhan’s essay collection Nishabd Kolahal, noted Marathi author Dr Bhalchandra Nemade reflected on the challenges facing Marathi language and literature in an increasingly globalised world.
Nemade emphasised that while society engages with global influences, Marathi literature must continue to preserve its regional roots, linguistic character and indigenous cultural identity. Local experiences, dialects, folk traditions and literature’s connection with society should not be neglected amid rapidly changing cultural and economic conditions.
Nishabd Kolahal is an essay collection by artist and writer Dhananjay Govardhan. The programme included discussion of the sensitivity visible in his art and writing, his observations of society and the literary expression of diverse human experiences. Dr Rajan Gavas, Ranganath Pathare and other literary personalities were associated with the event.
The report also records the participation of Sumati Lande of Shabdalay Prakashan. The programme represents an important moment in Shabdalay’s journey of providing a platform for authors, books and reflective Marathi literature.
According to the handwritten archival notation, this report appeared in Sakal on 18 June 2005. Preserved in Shabdalay’s Press & Media collection, the clipping documents an important discussion connecting Marathi literature, indigenous identity, globalisation and the culture of book publishing.
