To mark the golden jubilee of Popular Prakashan, a series of book exhibitions and literary programmes was organised with Shabdalay Publications in Sangamner, Ahmednagar, Shrirampur and Nashik. मुंबईतील पॉप्युलर प्रकाशनाच्या सुवर्णमहोत्सवानिमित्त पॉप्युलर प्रकाशन आणि श्रीरामपूर येथील शब्दालय प्रकाशन यांच्या संयुक्त विद्यमाने महाराष्ट्रातील विविध शहरांमध्ये पुस्तक प्रदर्शने व साहित्यिक कार्यक्रमांचे आयोजन करण्यात आले. संगमनेर, अहमदनगर, श्रीरामपूर आणि नाशिक येथे आयोजित या उपक्रमाचा उद्देश दर्जेदार पुस्तके वाचकांपर्यंत पोहोचवणे आणि मराठी वाचनसंस्कृतीला प्रोत्साहन देणे हा होता.
शब्दालयच्या सुमती लांडे यांनी दिलेल्या माहितीनुसार, संगमनेरमधील पुस्तक प्रदर्शनाची सांगता रविवार, १९ जानेवारी रोजी संतोष पवार यांच्या काव्यवाचनाने आयोजित करण्यात आली. या कार्यक्रमाला म. वि. कोडिये आणि प्रा. रावसाहेब कसबे उपस्थित राहणार असल्याचा उल्लेख बातमीत आहे.
पुढील पुस्तक प्रदर्शने अहमदनगरमधील महावीर कलादालनात ७ ते ९ फेब्रुवारी, श्रीरामपूरमधील आगाशे सभागृहात २१ ते २३ फेब्रुवारी आणि नाशिकच्या सार्वजनिक वाचनालयात १४ ते १६ मार्च या कालावधीत आयोजित करण्यात आली होती. पुस्तक प्रदर्शनांसोबत विविध साहित्यिक कार्यक्रमांची जोड देण्यात आल्यामुळे वाचकांना लेखक, कविता आणि साहित्याशी अधिक जवळून जोडण्याची संधी मिळाली.
ग्रंथप्रसार हे प्रकाशन संस्थांचे महत्त्वाचे सामाजिक आणि सांस्कृतिक कार्य आहे. वाचकांसाठी उत्तम आणि दर्जेदार पुस्तके एकत्रितपणे उपलब्ध करून देणे, नव्या पुस्तकांची ओळख करून देणे आणि विविध शहरांमध्ये साहित्यिक संवाद घडवणे यामध्ये शब्दालय प्रकाशनाने महत्त्वाची भूमिका बजावली.

A series of book exhibitions and literary programmes was organised jointly by Mumbai-based Popular Prakashan and Shabdalay Publications of Shrirampur to mark Popular Prakashan’s golden jubilee. The events were planned across Sangamner, Ahmednagar, Shrirampur and Nashik to promote books, reading and literary engagement among readers.
According to information provided by Shabdalay’s Sumati Lande, the Sangamner book exhibition concluded on Sunday, 19 January, with a poetry reading by Santosh Pawar. The report also mentions the expected presence of M. V. Kodiye and Professor Raosaheb Kasbe.
Further exhibitions were scheduled at Mahavir Kaladalan in Ahmednagar from 7 to 9 February, Agashe Sabhagruha in Shrirampur from 21 to 23 February and Sarvajanik Vachanalaya in Nashik from 14 to 16 March. Literary programmes accompanying the exhibitions allowed readers to connect more closely with books, poetry, writers and contemporary Marathi literature.
