श्रीरामपुरमध्ये पुस्तकांचा मॉल Book Mall Opens in Shrirampur

याच काळात सुमती लांडे यांना महाराष्ट्र शासनाच्या साहित्य व संस्कृती क्षेत्रातील श्री. पु. भागवत पुरस्काराचा सन्मान जाहीर झाला. त्यानिमित्त श्रीरामपूर प्रेस क्लबच्या वतीने त्यांचा सत्कार करण्यात आला. त्यांनी हा सन्मान केवळ स्वतःचा किंवा एका प्रकाशन संस्थेचा नसून मराठी साहित्य आणि प्रकाशन क्षेत्रातील सर्व साहित्यिक व प्रकाशकांचा असल्याची भावना व्यक्त केली.

Shabdalaya Prakashan launched a book mall in Shrirampur as an initiative to make books and reading more accessible to readers in a largely rural region. Senior writer and Shabdalaya Prakashan director Sumati Lande explained that the initiative aims to strengthen reading culture and provide book lovers with easier access to quality Marathi literature. The book mall represents an effort to create a dedicated literary space in a region where such facilities are comparatively limited.

The occasion also coincided with recognition for Sumati Lande after she was announced as a recipient of the Shri Pu. Bhagwat Award for her contribution to literature and publishing. Members of the Shrirampur Press Club felicitated her in recognition of the honour. Lande described the award as a recognition not only of her individual work but also of the broader Marathi literary and publishing community.
