Anubhav Vikane Aahet

Anubhav Vikayache Aahet (Experiences for Sale) is the first short story collection by Rangnath Pathare. It was published in 1983 by Vishwamohini Prakashan, founded by Anand Antarkar. The stories certainly bear traces of the inexperience of a young writer. However, they also contain indications of the remarkable literary work this writer might go on to produce in the future.

In the years that followed, Pathare wrote several noteworthy short stories. He experimented with different narrative techniques and explored the many possibilities of storytelling. The roots of these later developments can undoubtedly be found in this early collection. We are confident that readers will find these stories intriguing, while literary scholars will be able to discern in them the early echoes of the writer’s journey towards artistic maturity.
