सी. डी. जैन कॉलेज ऑफ कॉमर्सच्या बीसीए व एमसीए विद्यार्थ्यांनी आणि प्राध्यापकांनी श्रीरामपूर येथील शब्दालयला भेट देऊन मराठी साहित्य, आत्मचरित्रे, कथा आणि नव्याने प्रकाशित पुस्तके पाहिली.
BCA and MCA students and faculty from C. D. Jain College of Commerce visited Shabdalaya in Shrirampur to explore Marathi literature, stories, autobiographies and recent publications.
सी. डी. जैन कॉलेज ऑफ कॉमर्सच्या बीसीए आणि एमसीए विभागातील विद्यार्थी व प्राध्यापकांनी श्रीरामपूर येथील शब्दालयला शैक्षणिक भेट दिली. पुस्तकांनी भरलेल्या दालनात विद्यार्थ्यांनी मराठी साहित्याबरोबरच विविध विषयांवरील पुस्तके पाहिली. काही विद्यार्थ्यांनी पुस्तकांच्या कपाटांमधून आवडीची पुस्तके निवडली, पाने चाळली आणि उपलब्ध पुस्तकांची माहिती घेतली. छायाचित्रांत प्राध्यापक व विद्यार्थी एकत्र पुस्तकांवर चर्चा करताना दिसतात.
या भेटीत विद्यार्थ्यांना कथा, आत्मचरित्रे आणि शब्दालय प्रकाशनाची नव्याने प्रकाशित पुस्तके जाणून घेण्याची संधी मिळाली. वेगवेगळ्या प्रकारचे लेखन एकाच ठिकाणी पाहताना त्यांनी स्वतःच्या आवडीचे विषय शोधले. छायाचित्रांमध्ये पुस्तकांजवळ उभे राहून संवाद साधणारे विद्यार्थी, पुस्तकांचे अवलोकन करणारे गट आणि बसून वाचन किंवा नोंदी करणारे विद्यार्थी दिसतात. त्यामुळे ही भेट पुस्तकसंग्रह पाहण्यापुरती मर्यादित न राहता प्रत्यक्ष वाचन आणि चर्चेचा अनुभव ठरली.
बीसीए आणि एमसीएच्या अभ्यासक्रमाबाहेरही पुस्तकांशी परिचय वाढावा, विविध विषयांबद्दल कुतूहल निर्माण व्हावे आणि मराठी पुस्तकांचा शोध घेता यावा, यासाठी अशा भेटींना महत्त्व आहे. शब्दालय श्रीरामपूर येथे झालेली ही भेट महाविद्यालयीन विद्यार्थी आणि पुस्तकविश्व यांच्यातील संवादाची छायाचित्रमय नोंद आहे.
