About this book
“Philosophical Artistry” is one of the significant characteristics of Pathare’s novels. Pathare’s creative imagination is deeply absorbed in observing the environment within any system and the pollution that develops within it, examining the condition of people operating at different levels of that system, investigating the power dynamics that govern human life, and revealing the relativity of human existence.
The texts of his novels do not unfold merely through their literal meaning; they gradually reveal themselves through deeper understanding and interpretation as well. This process is certainly not linear. There is no fixed central point in Pathare’s novels because he perceives situations as fluid, flexible, and unrestricted. Through the creative courage of what philosophical thought describes as “taking a leap into the darkness,” Pathare reveals the darker dimensions of human existence.
As he explores reality, he eventually moves beyond its boundaries, thereby lending his writing a spiritual dimension. In doing so, he also highlights the spiritual emptiness that characterizes contemporary life.
