About this book
In this vast world, filled with countless questions, is there any room for the questions that individuals consider their own? Whether such space exists or not, whether it is granted or denied, every person must continually struggle with questions that are uniquely and exclusively their own. This is something everyone should be able to understand. It is a reality we all share, and yet it is different for each one of us. At this very moment, seven billion such realities exist in the world, each distinct from all the others. And within every individual lies an enormous inner world. Does that world matter at all?
This novel features several representative characters who move through life carrying their own worlds of questions. The narrative progresses through the exchange of their questions, their confrontations, their little desires and aspirations, and the conflicts arising from their respective interests. For each character, the story eventually arrives at the threshold of a beginning. In some cases, this beginning is clearly visible; in others, it remains indistinct.
For instance, the beginning is clearly apparent for Lamuwel and Tungakka, while it is less evident for the other characters. Yet it exists for them, too. After all, every ending is, in essence, merely a prelude to another beginning.
And that is why this novel is titled Eka Aarambhache Prastavik (A Prelude to a Beginning).
