चित्रकार धनंजय गोवर्धने लिखित ‘नि:शब्द कोलाहल’ या पुस्तकाचे प्रकाशन ज्येष्ठ साहित्यिक डॉ. भालचंद्र नेमाडे यांच्या हस्ते नाशिकमध्ये झाले. प्रकाशक सुमती लांडे यांच्यासह मराठी साहित्यातील अनेक मान्यवरांच्या उपस्थितीमुळे हा सोहळा शब्दालयच्या साहित्यिक वाटचालीतील महत्त्वाची आठवण ठरतो.
Artist and author Dhananjay Govardhane’s book Nishabd Kolahal was released in Nashik by distinguished Marathi writer Dr Bhalchandra Nemade. Attended by publisher Sumati Lande and several prominent literary personalities, the event remains an important memory from Shabdalay’s literary journey.
चित्रकार आणि लेखक धनंजय गोवर्धने यांच्या ‘नि:शब्द कोलाहल’ या पुस्तकाचा प्रकाशन सोहळा १८ जून २००५ रोजी नाशिकच्या परशुराम सायखेडकर नाट्यगृहात आयोजित करण्यात आला होता. ज्येष्ठ साहित्यिक आणि ‘कोसला’कार डॉ. भालचंद्र नेमाडे यांच्या हस्ते पुस्तकाचे प्रकाशन झाले. या सोहळ्याचे वृत्त ‘गावकरी’च्या रविवार, १९ जून २००५च्या अंकात प्रसिद्ध झाले.
‘नि:शब्द कोलाहल’मध्ये धनंजय गोवर्धने यांनी कॅमेरा, रंग, चित्र आणि शब्दांचा सर्जनशील माध्यमांप्रमाणे उपयोग केला आहे. समाजातील धर्म, पंथ, वर्ग आणि जातीय पूर्वग्रहांसह मानवी जीवनातील भावनिक व भौतिक वास्तव त्यांच्या कलाकृती आणि लेखनातून व्यक्त होते. चित्रकला व साहित्य यांचा संवाद घडवणारे हे पुस्तक दृश्यकला आणि शब्दकला यांचा वैशिष्ट्यपूर्ण संगम ठरते.
प्रकाशन सोहळ्याला डॉ. भालचंद्र नेमाडे, प्रकाशक सुमती लांडे, उत्तम कांबळे, रंगनाथ पठारे, राजन गवस, धनंजय गोवर्धने आणि छाया गोवर्धने यांच्यासह साहित्य व कलाक्षेत्रातील अनेक मान्यवर उपस्थित होते. कार्यक्रमात पुस्तकांचे साहित्यिक महत्त्व, वाचकवर्गाचे संवर्धन आणि सामाजिक वास्तव मांडण्यातील कलाकाराची भूमिका यांवर विचार व्यक्त करण्यात आले.
प्रकाशक सुमती लांडे यांच्या सहभागामुळे हा कार्यक्रम शब्दालयच्या साहित्यिक इतिहासाशी जोडला जातो. मराठी लेखक, कलाकार, विचारवंत आणि वाचकांना एकत्र आणणाऱ्या अशा प्रकाशन सोहळ्यांची नोंद जतन करणे ही शब्दालयच्या साहित्यसेवेचा महत्त्वाचा भाग आहे.
Artist and author Dhananjay Govardhane’s book Nishabd Kolahal was launched at Parshuram Saykhedkar Natyagruha in Nashik on 18 June 2005. Distinguished Marathi writer and Kosala author Dr Bhalchandra Nemade formally released the book. The event was reported in the Sunday, 19 June 2005 edition of the Marathi newspaper Gavkari.
In Nishabd Kolahal, Dhananjay Govardhane employs the camera, colours, visual art and words as creative tools for exploring society. His work addresses emotional and material realities alongside prejudices connected with religion, community, class and caste. The publication therefore represents a distinctive dialogue between visual art, photography and Marathi literature.
The launch was attended by Dr Bhalchandra Nemade, publisher Sumati Lande, Uttam Kamble, Ranganath Pathare, Rajan Gavas, Dhananjay Govardhane and Chhaya Govardhane, among other literary and artistic personalities. The speakers discussed the literary significance of the book, the importance of preserving readership and the artist’s responsibility to represent contemporary social realities.
Sumati Lande’s involvement connects this event with Shabdalay’s literary history and its commitment to bringing together Marathi writers, artists, thinkers and readers.
